CAROL HENNING-FRANCZYK, MSW, MBA, LSW, ACSW - VICE PRESIDENT

Philadelphia, PA - Prominently featured in Continental Who's Who, Carol Henning-Franczyk, MSW, MBA, LSW, ACSW is honored as a 2026 Pinnacle Professional Member Inner Circle of Excellence for her contributions to Social Work and Community Service.

Carol Henning-Franczyk, MSW, MBA, LSW, ACSW serves as vice president at the Broken Wings Literacy Center, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit dedicated to supporting children living in poverty with educational and mental health resources. With a career in social work spanning more than fifty years, she has consistently focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable families and children through counseling, mentoring, fundraising, and community engagement.

Ms. Henning-Franczyk holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Her work reflects a unique blend of clinical expertise and organizational leadership, enabling her to guide programs that meet both emotional and educational needs. In recognition of her dedication, she has been honored with numerous accolades, including P.O.W.E.R., Woman of the Month June 2024 distinction, toastmasters and the University of Phoenix Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also featured on the cover of the university’s alumni magazine in April 2024.

An active member of the Pennsylvania Society for Clinical Social Work, the National Association of Social Workers, and a supporter of organizations such as the American Diabetes Association and the Philadelphia Theater Company, Ms. Henning-Franczyk remains deeply committed to advancing her community. She is also University of Penn Ambassador and has previously dedicated her time to the Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania, highlighting her passion for education and outreach.

She credits mentors Natasha Harris Foster, Louise Shoemaker, and Dr. Robin Lovey for inspiring her lifelong commitment to social work and leadership. Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Henning-Franczyk enjoys playing the piano and writing. She is also a big fan of the Phillies and Eagles.

Looking to the future, she remains devoted to growing the Broken Wings Literacy Center and raising awareness of the importance of literacy and mental health in breaking cycles of poverty. Through her leadership, she continues to embody compassion, resilience, and service. Ms. Henning-Franczyk would love to got back to being a marriage and family therapist.
