In the healthcare industry as a registered nurse for twenty
eight years, Cheryl has been in her current role as a legal nurse consultant
for over four years. Inspired by her daughters, she was motivated to channel
her healthcare expertise into legal nurse consulting.
Included within the legal nurse consultant role, Cheryl specializes in medical
cost projections and other legal nurse consulting services which include but
are not limited to merit reviews, case analysis and summaries, chronologies,
timelines location of testifying experts and any other service which will save
the client time and money. Cheryl states
the key to her success is that she is first and foremost interested and driven
to “uncover the truth.”
Professional memberships include the American Nurses
Association (ANA), Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrical and Neonatal
Nurses (AWHONN), American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants (AALNC),
American College of Forensic Examiner’s Institute (ACFEI), National Alliance of
Certified Legal Nurse Consultants (NACLNC) and National Association of
Professional Women (NAPW). Cheryl enjoys
biking, photography and traveling in her free time.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, (Magna Cum Laude) from Ohio
University as well as a second Bachelor of Science in Professional Arts with a
minor in Healthcare Administration from St. Joseph's College. She also
maintains certification in Inpatient Obstetrics through the National
Certification Center (NCC) and is certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant through
the Vicki Milazzo Institute. Cheryl is
currently pursuing a certification in Forensic Nursing.
