CHRISTINE RENAUD, LCSW - LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER / AUTHOR

Stafford, VA- Christine Renaud, LCSW is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the fields of Social Work and Literature as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Compass Counseling Services of Northern Virginia, as well as an independent Author with LifeRich Publishing.

With four years of experience in her field and serving clients in the outpatient therapy setting at Compass Counseling Services of Northern Virginia since 2018, Ms. Renaud is a clinical social worker who specializes in Trauma and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders. Dedicated to her clients, she is responsible for a case load of 15 to 20 clients per week and provides evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults with mental health, behavioral, and emotional disturbances.

A talented and illustrious author, Ms. Renaud wrote the heartwarming “Charlie Bean Goes Home,” based on the adoption story of her dog. The story raises awareness of the importance of adopting adult dogs and is also an excellent therapeutic tool for emotional processing, particularly for children in foster care or who are adopted.

Ms. Renaud graduated with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology in 2013 from The College of the Holy Cross. Ms. Renaud then attended the Catholic University of America, graduating in 2015 with her Master of Social Work degree with a Clinical Military Specialization.

To further her professional development, Ms. Renaud is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Psychology, Sociology, and Social Science National Honor Societies. Ms. Renaud is charitable to Midcoast Hunger Prevention Program in Brunswick, Maine.

When she is not working, Ms. Renaud enjoys spending time with family, traveling, reading, and attending hockey games. She’s also an animal lover.

Christine dedicates this recognition to her parents, Rita and Normand Renaud, and her husband Saul Lopez.

Christine also thanks her mentor and former supervisor, Tanya Meline, LCSW for her guidance.
