Daniel M. Edmans specializes in proposal management, customer support, and engineering. In his current role as the Senior Director of Proposals and Publications, Mr. Edmans brings eighteen years of experience to the job. He has a background in homeland security, defense and aerospace, fiber-optic transmission, international business, MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS), and sales and marketing.
To prepare for his career in the R&D field, Mr. Edmans earned his MBA from the University of New York at Albany, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering, both from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In previous roles, he has worked as a Senior Engineer for Picosecond Pulse Labs, the Director of Sales in Western US and Asia for Picometrix, and Director of Government Relations at Physical Optics Corp., among other positions.

Mr. Edmans has held patents for a Differential Wideband Vibration Sensor and a Wideband Vibration Sensor since 1997. He has also authored an article about MEMS. Mr. Edmans attributes his achievements to a lifelong willingness to learn, his interests in management and networking, and always working hard to advance his opportunities.
Staying up-to-date in his field, Mr. Edmans has been a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 1990, and enjoys reading IEEE Spectrum magazine. He supports several charitable organizations, such as Habitat for Humanity, A Precious Child, Doctors Without Borders, Feed America, and more.
On a personal note, Mr.
