Gilbert, AZ- David R. Stacy, O.D. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Medicine in recognition of his role as an Optometrist at The Eye Center, David Stacey O.D. LLC.
With over forty years of experience in the field of medicine, Dr. David R. Stacy is revered for his exceptional contributions to the optometry industry. Throughout his career, Dr. Stacy has become well versed in all facets of eye care. Inspired by his best friend’s father who was a physician, Dr. Stacy injured his eye during football practice (he was a halfback in high school), and sustained a blood damaged eye. Dr. Stacy later became a battalion commander in the US Army. When asked his advice to newcomers in the industry, Dr. Stacy emphasizes the importance of communication and making sure you’re always “on your toes.”
While pursuing his educational endeavors, Dr. Stacy graduated from the University of Arizona and served in the army for four and a half years. Upon serving in the army, Dr. Stacy moved to Oregon and attended Pacific University-College of Optometry where he earned his O.D.
To further enhance his professional development, Dr. Stacy is a distinguished fellow of several elite organizations including the Arizona Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. Currently the President of VOSH AZ (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity), Dr. Stacy is also the Head of the technology section and enjoys donating his free time to help people.
When he is not working, Dr. Stacy enjoys spending quality time with his family and likes hiking and bird watching.
Dr. Stacy dedicates this recognition to his wife, Patricia Stacy who has a BS in Biological Sciences. He thanks her for her “continuing steadfast love and support over the years.” Dr. Stacy also dedicates this recognition in memoriam of Dr. Arnold Greenbaum for his fatherly advice before the computer age.
