DR. ANNA GOC, PH.D., M.S. - SENIOR RESEARCHER

San Jose, CA/- Continental Who’s Who/Dr. Anna Goc, Ph.D., M.S., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Research a s a result of her role as Senior Researcher at the Dr. Rath Research Institute.

As a seasoned scientist, Dr. Goc has wide-ranging knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology in fields of microbiology, immunology, cancer, and vascular biology. She successfully manages basic, translational and clinical studies that are focused on developing effective and safe therapies for patients suffering from bacterial and fungi infections.

As Senior Researcher leading the Microbiology Laboratory at the Dr. Rath Research Institute, she is the current principal investigator on a growing Lyme disease project. Results of her research work are published in many reputed scientific journal as well as honored by national and international awards.

To keep up with the latest advancements in science, Dr. Goc maintains affiliation with the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, American Society for Microbiology, American Chemical Society, to name a few.

Outside of work, she can be found volunteering for National Association of Professional Women and Lyme disease awareness.

Dr. Goc graduated with honors from Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland with both her Master of Science in Molecular Biology and Ph.D. in Biochemistry, followed by postdoctoral training at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Ohio and University of Georgia, Athens Georgia. She also was serving as a Research Biologist at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Augusta Georgia.
