Dr. Boris Farber

New York, N.Y - Continental Who's Who recognizes Dr. Boris Farber, CEO, M.Eng., M.Sci., Ph.D., Dr.Sci., Professor, Academician, as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to Bioengineering, Bio and Nanotechnology, Pharmacology and Education.
Dr. Farber first earned his Postdoctoral Degree in Bioengineering and Applied Mathematics at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics in Moscow. He then received his Ph.D. in Robotics at the University of Information Technologies, Radio Engineering and Electronics, also in Moscow. He also earned a second Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics also in Moscow, and a Doctor of Science degree - a 'higher doctorate' reserved for individuals who lend significant contributions to science - from Peter the Great Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg.
Today, Dr. Farber brings 44 years of experience to the field and has worked in his current position for 20 years. Previously, Dr. Farber worked as the Director of Science at the Central Research Institute of Prosthetics. He went on to an entrepreneurial role as founder of InvaPomosh, Inc., the Technological Industry of Prosthetics and Orthotics, Inc., Ortho-Cosmos, Inc. and most recently, American Medical Technologies and Noigel, LLC, Patterns Image Corporation, Farbers Center for Academic Success, Inc where he has been since 2003 and 2010, respectively.
"I attribute my success to trying to understand a system and seeing the global picture using broad vision based on TRIZ (a problem-solving, analysis and forecasting tool derived from the study of patterns of invention evolution). Dr. Farber said. "Knowing to focus on the system and people is key to my success."
As Chief Executive Officer of Farber's Center for Academic Success, Inc., Dr. Farber looks to implement state-of-the-art object-oriented teaching techniques. To date, he has worked with 137 Ph.D.s and Dr. Sci. in Biomedical Sciences and thousands of students over the world.
Dr. Farber has also authored the Patenting Teaching Object Oriented Method, which he cites is "based on patterns and images" and is a "unified physics education system: and decision algorithms for solving logic problems." He is coming up on the 41st anniversary of the method on August 28, 2017.
The year of 2017 also marks important passages of time for other technologies that he has helped pioneer, such as; 36 years of Strategy Rational Self-Adjusted Bioengineering Design and 16 years of Molecular Self-Adjusted Robots Design in Bio, Nanotechnology and Pharmacology.
In addition, he is the author of some fundamental works in the fields of biotechnology, mathematical modeling, prosthetics, orthotics, biomechanics, bionics, movement control, electro-stimulation, the rocket-space industry, and the artificial intelligence industry, among others. His four-book series, entitled "Theoretical Aspects of Motion Control and Electro-Stimulation" became bestsellers.
To further his professional development, Dr. Farber is a member of the Academy of Medical Technical Sciences, the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics, the International Society of Biomechanics and maintains membership to Mathematical Societies in the United States, Australia, Europe, Singapore and Canada. He is also a member on the Board of Doctoral Theses and a Member of the Top Executive Club, which named him VIP Person in 2016.
In recognition of his work, Dr. Farber was named Honorary Recipient of the Honored Inventor of Russian Federation award, which is the highest prize that the Russian government can award to an inventor. He was also nominated as Scientist of the Year and Professor of the Year, both in New York. His biography is included in Marquis Who's Who, Worldwide Who's Who, The Top Executive Club of executives and professionals and Continental Who's Who (CWW) (2017).
Outside of work, Dr. Farber enjoys painting, weight lifting, and wrestling.
