
Molino, FL- A. Dwight Davis, Colonel USAF (Ret) is recognized by Continental Who’s Who in the field of Aviation as the Director for Operations at The Rockhill Group.
At his current position at The Rockhill Group (TRG), Mr. Davis leads, mentors, and manages the operations team executing Defense Department, Federal Aviation Administration, and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration services contracts across 37 sites nationwide. In addition, TRG also has experience (past performance) working with the United States Navy (USN) and the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA).
Proudly served in the US Air Force for 26 years, Mr. Davis served on various joint and service staffs to include the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Air Staff, Headquarters Air Force Special Operations Command, and a Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force. With more than 750 combat hours as navigator on the EC-130E Airborne Battlefield Command, Control Center and AC-130H Spectre Gunship, Mr. Davis retired in 2018 as a Master Navigator with over 4,000 flight hours. A highly skilled navigator and combat systems officer in both Air Force Special Operations and Combat Rescue platforms, Mr. Davis exemplifies a senior executive leader with extensive national security and military operations experience.
Throughout his education and training, Mr. Davis is a 1991 graduate of Auburn University earning his commission through the Air Force ROTC program. Following this, Mr. Davis received a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (with distinction) and a Master of Military Operational Arts and Science degree from the Air Command and Staff College. Renown amongst his peers, Mr. Davis was a National Defense Fellow for Special Operations and Low Intensity Conflict at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. Mr. Davis has also achieved a Joint Professional Military Education Level II at the Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, VA.
To further his professional development, Mr. Davis is a member of the Military Officer Association of America and the Air Commando Association.
Recognized for his accomplishments, Mr. Davis received the 2012 Military Officer’s Association of America Award for Joint Service Warfare, the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal with two oak leaf clusters, an Air Medal with seven oak leaf clusters, an Aerial Achievement Medal with four oak leaf clusters, an Air Force Commendation Medal with two oak leaf clusters, a Joint Service Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, an Air Force Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and an Air Force Combat Action Medal.
When not at work, Mr. Davis enjoys cycling, spearfishing, military history, and foreign affairs.
