Fayel Tall is a seasoned business professional with a career spanning twenty years. She is most known for her success in the hair and wig industry and her background in the golds and precious metals industry.
Ms. tall began her career as an International Model in 1985. From ages 18 to 20, Ms. Tall was a Model for The African Heritage Gallery of Nairobi, Kenya. Peter Beard discovered Ms. Tall after seeing her photos in the African Heritage Gallery featured from 1985-1987. In February 1987, at the age of 20, Fayel Tall posed for Peter Beard at Lake Turkana, in Kenya, at his request.
Ms. Tall attended the University of Salford in 1987, where she took classes in French-English Linguistics. She moved to Los Angeles in 1990 to join the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute from 1991-1992. Shortly after, she began research in the Precious Metal Sector from 1993-2006. Ms. Tall's research received Presidential Recognition from former President Amadou Toumani Toure of Mali in 2008.
Ms. Tall worked as a teacher at UCLA from 2003-2004, teaching Bambara. She gained experience in gold trading, translation, and risk assessment during her work with BGH from 2006 to 2007. Ms. Tall then became the CEO of Sanuya Export Co. from 2006 to 2021, where she is the company's sole shareholder. She has recently taken on the CEO role as the Founder of F. Tall LLC, based in New York, NY.
Ms. Tall also became the Patent Owner of Fatal Wig, her second company, in 2021. Ms. Tall dedicates her Patent to her Papa, Doctor Amadou Tall, and two beautiful daughters.
She has been recognized for her work by an LA Times interview in 1992. As she looks to the future, Ms. Tall hopes to expand her businesses even further in the coming years. On a personal note, Ms. Tall speaks four languages: Bambara, English, French, and Swahili.
