Tarzana, CA— Prominently featured in The Inner Circle, Ira Wardono is acknowledged as a
Distinguished Healthcare Provider for her contributions to the Pediatric Field.
Dr Wardono earned a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1996 and a Doctor of Medicine degree from Universitas Indonesia in 1998. She completed an internship and residency in pediatrics at Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York where she also served as Chief Resident when she moved to the United States. Dr. Wardono also holds a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety Management degree from the College of Population Health at Thomas Jefferson University.
The doctor is board certified in General Pediatrics through the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). She notes that the mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
Dr. Wardono practices at Cedars-Sinai at the community site Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. She has served as Medical Director of Pediatric Hospitalist Service and is the current Chief of Pediatrics at the same hospital. She is a member of the Society of Hospital Medicine; the American Association for Physician Leadership; and the American College of Physician Advisors. Dr. Wardono is also an Executive Board Member of Providence Southern California Women’s and Children’s Institute.
Dr. Wardono serves as the Executive Board Member of Providence Southern California Women’s and Children’s Institute. She would like to dedicate this honor to her family and children and thanks them for their love and support.
