
New
Westminster, BC, Canada — Jeff Ratcliffe, CPA, is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Executive in
the Mining and Oil and Gas Resources Industries and in acknowledgment of his
leadership at the newly formed Pana Copper Limited.
Mr.
Ratcliffe currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Director of Pana
Copper Limited., a Vancouver-based Canadian mining company founded in 2020. The
project is focused on pioneering ventures in largely untapped copper deposits
in the Chagai District of Pakistan.
Prior
to joining Pana in early 2021, Mr. Ratcliffe, a Certified Public Accountant,
garnered 14 years of Accounting and Executive experience with public and
private companies. Among those, he served as Senior Accountant, from 2017-2019,
with InvestX Capital Limited, a Fintech startup company, selling opportunities
for investment to retail investors in private equity growth companies, such as
Lyft, Spotify, Uber, Airbnb, Dropbox, Casper, and Pinterest. Before that, Mr.
Ratcliffe served as Chief Financial Officer for three years with United Hunter
Oil & Gas Corporation, a publicly-traded company engaged in exploring and
developing oil and gas primarily in Texas. From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Ratcliffe
acted as the controller for Sea Dragon Energy, a private company that we
completed an IPO on the TSX venture exchange in 2008.
In
pursuit of his higher education, Mr. Ratcliffe earned a Bachelor of Arts in
Economics from the University of Victoria in 1994. He is also enrolled in the
Corporate Financial Institutes Financial Modeling and Valuation Certificate
Program.
Mr.
Ratcliffe says he would like “to continue working with smaller junior ventures,
as well as develop high-value networking contacts and increase significant
exposure for myself and the companies with which I am engaged.”
