
Specializing in an array of integrated programs for individuals with Autism,
Special Citizens opened its first group home in 1981. Since then, the
organization has prospered to provide men, women and children with autism the
most fulfilling and enjoyable lives possible through their endless residential,
recreation and day programs, employment opportunities, camps and more.
In the industry for nearly two decades, Jessica has been the CEO of Special
Citizens for the past three years. As CEO, she wears several hats and is
involved in multiple facets of the organization.
Currently, Jessica’s areas of concentration include program
design and development, finance, daily operations, public relations, marketing,
leadership, management and training.
A member of National Association of Grants Management and the National
Association of Professional Women, Jessica enjoys going to the beach and
spending time with her children in her time outside of work.
Throughout the course of her education and training, Jessica received both her
Ph.D. and Master’s degree in Psychology from Capella University in addition to
her undergraduate degree in Women’s Studies from SUNY New Paltz, the State
University of New York.
