
Laval, Quebec-Jocelyne Fontaine is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Lifetime Member in the field of Health & Medical Services in recognition of her role a Corporate Nursing Manager at Air Canada-OHS Clinic.
With over forty- two years of experience in the Health and
Medical field, Jocelyne Fontaine has established herself as a well-regarded
professional in the industry. Having
spent thirteen years of experience in her current position as Corporate Nursing
Manager at Air Canada, throughout her illustrious career, Jocelyne has attained
extensive expertise in the areas of Occupational health and Aviation medicine,
pre- placement medicals, immunizations for airline crew members, and return to
work assessments. In addition, Jocelyne is a member emergency response team and
reviews fitness for travel for passengers. Becoming a leader was a great
challenge but so very rewarding. Being able to empowers others and then commit
everything to excellence has been her main objective to support the vision,
goals and value of Air Canada.
Jocelyne knew at the age of 5 that she
always had a yearning to become a nurse. She knew that she always wanted to
help people while making an impact on their lives. Being the second child of eleven,
she learned very early the value of hard work, education and integrity.
While pursuing her educational endeavors, Jocelyne began her career as an
Obstetric Nurse, then obtained a post graduate in Obstetric Nursing at the
Grace Hospital in Halifax. Previously, she earned her Bachelor of Science
Degree in Nursing from the University de Montreal in Quebec, Canada in 2000.
To further enhance her professional development, Jocelyne is a distinguished
fellow of several elite organizations including the Quebec Order of Nurses.
Charitable to various organizations, Jocelyne is an avid supporter of the Heart
Foundation and Cancer Society. Jocelyne has assisted with flights to Haiti
after the earthquake and helped with the reception of Syrian refugees into Canada.
Jocelyne dedicates this recognition in loving memory of her father, Antoine
Fontaine and her sister Patricia. She
also dedicates this recognition to her mother Therese Fontaine, her brother Dr.
Ron Fontaine and Marie F. Fontaine for their support throughout her
career.
