Dr. Vellequette pursued higher education at the University of California at Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. He then attended the University of Buffalo, School of Dentistry where he received a DDS, minoring in Periodontics. 

Practicing in Sunnyvale, CA. and specializing in preventing; diagnosing; and treating diseases and conditions associated with the mouth and overall dental health, Dr. Vellequette asserts that dentists like him are trained to carry out such treatment as professional cleaning; restorative prosthodontic and endodontic procedures; and performing examinations among many others. The doctor notes that he provides comprehensive dental care to manage overall oral health and communicates with his patients and is an expert in dentistry focused on extractions, root canals, and a wide range of esthetic dental procedures. 

A leader in his field, the doctor is a member of the ADA; California Dental Association; Santa Clara County Dental Association; and Fellow and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Vellequette notes that his mentors are Larrt Rosenthal; DDS, Bill Dickerson, DDS; Robert Lee, DDS; and Pete Dawson, DDS. Aside from his professional pursuits, the doctor said he is always willing to serve in the community, participating in mission trips to Tijuana, Mexico, and in Santa Clara, California for the underprivileged.
