Based in New Orleans, LA, John Robert Ellis has been

in 2005, both from the University of Louisiana. He next received his J.D. from
Appalachian School of Law in 2009, serving on the Law Journal and earning the
Dean's List every semester. To continue his education, Mr. Ellis then earned
his LL.M. - Master of Laws from Tulane University Law School in 2010. From
2010-2016, Mr. Ellis also served as Chief Editor of several legal textbooks
written by Max Nathan, Jr., Professor of Law. John Robert Ellis has served as a
Member of the Board of Directors of the Metro Centers for Community Advocacy
since 2016. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New
Orleans Bar Association.
Mr. Ellis began his career as a Law Clerk at Weiler & Rees
LLC, where he later became an Attorney at Law and then worked as a General
Counsel for the Anderson Group. After practicing law with Sessions, Fishman,
Nathan & Israel LLC for several years, Mr. Ellis continued his private
practice to act as Chief Legal Counsel and Director of Military Security for a
private government contractor. Since its inception in 2012, Ellis Law Firm, LLC
