Grafton, Ohio - Kristi Sink is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Executive in the Medical field and in
acknowledgment of her work at University Hospital Elyria Medical Center.
Kristi Sink has dedicated her career to hospital system
management over fifteen years in the Medical field. She started at Kenyon
College, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Psychology in 1988.
Ms. Sink then attended Ohio State University, graduating with a Master of
Health Administration degree with Honors in 1991. She is also a Fellow of the
American College of Healthcare Executives.
Beginning as an Administrative Fellow in 1991, Ms. Sink rose through the
executive ranks at Sentara Healthcare, and became the Director of Operations.
She then worked at the Bon Secours Health System at Hampton Roads, VA, for over
eight years in Oncology, Ancillary, Radiology, and Ambulatory leadership roles.
From 2008-2016, she was the Vice President Ambulatory & Ancillary Services
at Mission Hospitals.
Ms. Sink joined University Hospitals in 2016, serving the Greater Cleveland,
OH, area. She was the Chief Operating Officer for UH Pharma Medical Center, and
then the President of the University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center. The
Hospital was awarded as a CMS 5-Star Performing Hospital (2020) and a
Healthgrades Top 250 Hospital (2019, 2020). Ms. Sink was awarded as a Woman of
Professional Excellence in 2017 by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland.
Her work often focuses on delivering clinical programs to complex health
systems in order to benefit the hospital’s patients. In a leadership capacity,
she has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and has developed
inpatient, ancillary support, and ambulatory healthcare operations. Ms. Sink
has been involved in mergers, acquisitions, and divesting businesses, service
line and business development, and cost improvements.
In her spare time, Ms. Sink volunteers with the American Heart Association and
American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. She is a Board Member with the Lorain
County Chamber of Commerce and Fletcher Area Business Association, and is a
Mentor for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Program.
