
Brentwood, TN— Dr. Laura Purdy is being recognized by
Continental Who’s Who as a Distinguished Healthcare Professional for her
contributions in the family medicine field.
Dr. Purdy earned a bachelor’s degree from Ball State
University and a Medical Doctor Degree from Uniform Services University of the
Health Sciences. She completed a residency at Fort Benning and is a
board-certified family medicine physician currently licensed in 48 states. She
served as a physician in the US Army for 14 years and has worked in both
outpatient and inpatient settings providing care for all ages.
Dr. Purdy is considered an expert in telemedicine, digital
health care, family medicine, and public speaking. She has held several
leadership positions in the telemedicine industry with experience as a virtual
health physician, medical director, consultant and PC Owner.
Dr. Purdy notes that her mentor is Dr. Julie Hundermark. In
her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and playing piano and she
supports the charity Miracles for Kids. The doctor would like to dedicate this
