Laurel founded Bespoke Wealth Management, LLC to address the need for investment specialists in the world of independent, fee-only advisors.  A Millennial herself, Laurel has joined the XY Planning Network in their groundbreaking work to provide service to younger generations of investors. She was recently quoted in Women & Money Magazine and is an advisor contributor for NerdWallet.com. 

Laurel relies on her experience, research, education and expertise to diligently make investment choices and comparisons. She says, ”I think it’s important  to explain the nuances of fees to clients in order to help them save money. I also believe account automation best serves it’s purpose when used for maintenance. It’s not enough to choose funds that promise to fill slots in an allocation. Someone needs to be able to recognize if an investment manager isn’t performing”. Laurel has recently made a popular new service called Mind-Mapping available to those who go to her for financial planning. Her favorite clients to work with are young investors and families with young children.

Laurel earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Connecticut where she conducted research on the dinosaur track sites found throughout the Connecticut River Valley of New England. Prior to that, she traveled internationally as a fashion model with Wilhelmina Models, Inc. Laurel and her husband enjoy the restoration of their antique Windsor home when they’re not working. Heifer International is her charity of choice.
