Kagan Publishing works to provide professionals in the field of education with up to date strategies and methods. Kagan Structures have grown in popularity and currently include Numbered Heads Together, Timed Pair Share, RallyRobin, and Quiz-Quiz-Trade. These Kagan Structures, and many more, are now used world-wide from kindergarten to adult education, in all academic subject areas to boost student engagement and learning.

Currently, Laurie directs all workshop design, development of training materials, and training of trainers. She personally trains and selects all Kagan trainers who go through a highly effective training process designed to ensure clients will have the very highest quality training possible. At present there are approximately forty Kagan Certified Trainers across the United States and other countries, providing keynotes, awareness sessions, workshops, and multi-day institutes.

In addition to her role as Executive Director, Laurie is the author of twelve popular books for teachers and trainers including Multiple Intelligences: Structures and Activities, Teambuilding, and Classbuilding. Her book, Dynamic Trainer, is the single most comprehensive trainer resource and is the basis for her much sought workshop: The Dynamic Trainer. Laurie has also developed popular learning games and structures that are used around the globe.

Laurie earned her Masters Degree in Education and Administration from University of San Francisco.
