Whitinsville, MA ‒ Maureen Patricia Schuler, Psy.D, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Psychologist for her decades of exceptional work in the field of Psychology.
Dr Schuler worked as a Licensed Psychologist for over 25 years and as the Assistant Director of Berea Kid’s Dwelling since 1990. She has worked as a nun, a middle school teacher, and a psychologist, finding many roles to be a positive influence throughout her life.
She got her start at the University of Dayton, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Dr. Schuler then attended Xavier University in 1969, then graduated from Wright State University with a Doctor of Psychology degree in 1987. She had internships at Hamilton County Mental Health and Recovery Services and the Meade Murky Hills Psychology Consortium, where she gained valuable experience.
Beginning her career in 1983, she worked as a mental health professional serving the Whitinsville, MA area. She worked as a college professor in Ohio, Indiana, Virginia, and California between 1956 - 1981. Dr. Schuler has retired from healthcare, but remains active as the author of You Are a New Creation, released in 2019. The book details her faith in God and her fascinating life journey.
To remain up to date in the field, she is a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Society of Scientific Hypnosis, the Ohio Psychological Affiliation, and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
