Weirton, WV ‒ Michelle Barbuto is being recognized as a Distinguished Professional for her excellent work in the fields of Nursing and Grief Counseling and in recognition of her work at FitWith6 and Grieving with Grace.
Michelle Barbuto is a Registered Nurse and Grief Counselor with over 35 years specializing in the health and wellness field. As a Registered Nurse Manager, she currently works with LIFE Beaver, a health plan that allows seniors to live comfortably in their own home while receiving 24/7 access to care and services. Ms. Barbuto is the Founder and Owner of FitWith6, which she has managed for over a decade. She is also the Founder of Grieving with Grace, where she offers grief counseling services.
To prepare for a career in healthcare, Ms. Barbuto earned her RN from Beaver County Community College. Ms. Barbuto began her business FitWith6 around 2011, teaching innovative techniques for exercise and working towards a healthier lifestyle. She is a Yoga Instructor, Certified Mindfulness Practitioner, and is Reiki 2 Certified. Ms. Barbuto has previously been interviewed on CUTV News Talk Radio to discuss FitWith6 and her work with the T-Tapp core-strengthening exercise regimen.
She is also the founder of Grieving with Grace, a grief counseling service she started after the passing of her son John in 2014. She hopes that by facing loss head-on, with honesty and compassion, she can guide others through some of the toughest periods of their lives.
Ms. Barbuto has penned chapters in multiple books, including Loss, Survive, Thrive; Bikini Body After 40, and Finding Your Way Out of Domestic Abuse and Back to the True You.
