technologies, such as MRI and CT. Radiologists also treat diseases, such as
cancer or heart disease, by means of radiation or minimally invasive,
image-guided surgery.
Dr. Kirdani started his career at St. Lukes from 1970-2000. He then became a
private doctor until 2006. His area of expertise is interventional radiology
making him 1 of 12 in the nation with interventional radiology practice. Interventional radiology is a group of
techniques where medical imaging guidance, such as x-ray fluoroscopy, computed
tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, or ultrasound, are used to guide
medical therapies to precisely the internal structures of the body through very
small incisions.
