Los Angeles, CA - Nazy Zomorodian, NP, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Trusted Urologist in the Medical field, and in acknowledgment of her work at the UCLA Institute of Urologic Oncology.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Ms Zomorodian specializes in Urology and works with patients in the Los Angeles, CA area. She began her career in Medicine more than 20 years ago, and now teaches residents at UCLA, in addition to performing her clinical duties. Ms. Zomorodian serves as the Executive Director of the Genitourinary Clinical Trials Unit, as well as an Assistant Professor in the UCLA Department of Urology.
Ms. Zomorodian completed a Bachelor of Science degree and Master of Science in
Nursing at MCP Hahnemann University School of Nursing in 2001. She has been
board certified as a Nurse Practitioner by the Urologic Nurses Associates since
2019, and she is currently working towards a Ph.D. in Research Nursing at UCLA.
Throughout her two-decade-long career, Ms. Zomorodian has worked extensively on
medical research. She has conducted and managed cancer research projects, and
oversaw the UCLA Urologic and Medical Oncology Principal Investigators’ basic
research projects.
Alongside her clinical work, Ms. Zomorodian is an Assistant Professor at the
Department of Urology - David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. With her
advanced training on the subject, Ms. Zomorodian teaches residents, Fellows,
doctors, and nurses about kidney, prostate, and bladder cancer clinical trials.
She specializes in urinary tract diseases and issues with the male reproductive
system, including bladder, urethra, kidneys, penis, and prostate problems. As
the Executive Director at UCLA Health, she provides care to patients at 300
Stein Plaza in Los Angeles, CA. She is also affiliated with Ronald Reagan UCLA
Medical Center at 757 Westwood Plaza in Los Angeles, CA.
To become involved in her field of specialty, Ms. Zomorodian volunteers with
the American Cancer Society, the Bladder Cancer Association, the Prostate
Cancer Foundation, and the Kidney Cancer Association. She is a distinguished
member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners, the Association of
American Urological Nursing, the Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau
International, the ACRP, ASCO, AUA, SUO, and SUNA.
On a personal note, Ms. Zomorodian speaks Persian (Farsi) and English. She
loves to play tennis and golf, and rescues dogs in her spare time.
