Dr. Pooja Mehrotra, has 12 years’ experience in the field of dentistry and the past 3 years treating patients at Nobel Dental Care. Before working as a dentist is the USA, she was a dentist in India as well. Her areas of expertise are oral surgery, extractions due to crowding, infection or damage to a tooth, and cosmetic dentistry such as Invisalign, Veneers, and teeth whitening. Dr. Mehrotra administers thorough dental examinations to her patients in order to determine what diagnosis and treatment is necessary and how to personalize it to the individual.

To prepare for her career as a dentist, Dr. Mehrotra studied at New York University College of Dentistry and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Tri-County Dental Society, American with Disabilities Act (ADA), The American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR) which is known to promote and advance radiology in dentistry, as well as provide a forum for communication among its members, the healthcare community, and the public. She remains affiliated with the American Society Dental Radiology as well. She also regularly donates to Eagle Scouts and MUSC Medical Center. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Mehrotra has implemented through cleaning cycles of her practice, and has retrained staff on cleanliness from washing hand, and supplies and also added special air filters in her practice that aid in killing airborne viruses.
