Dr. Rekha Gandhi founded Neurovations Clinic in Winter Park, FL, in December 2020. She treats patients for a variety of issues, including epilepsy, seizures, migraines, memory loss, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, carpal tunnel, Guillian-Barre Syndrome, myasthenia gravis, tremors, tumors, MS, Botox for migraines, hemifacial spasm/blepharospasm, and more. Working at multiple locations, Dr. Gandhi is also a staff member at Conquest Research, where she has been since 2019. Her specialties are treating patients with seizures, epilepsy, migraines, and headaches.
Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Gandhi has been a Principal Investigator on numerous clinical trials. The research focused on therapeutic indications, such as Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's Disease, migraines, sleep disorders, seizure disorders, depression, ADHD, NASH, diabetes, and bipolar disorder. She is currently conducting clinical research through Conquest Research and the Neurovations Clinic, and is studying Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease.
For her college education, the doctor first attended Emory University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurosciences and Behavioral Biology. She then attended St. George's University School of Medicine, graduating in 2007. She then completed a year-long Internal Medicine internship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital Queens from 2007-2008. Dr. Gandhi next completed a Neurology residency in 2009 at Stony Brook University Hospital. To further her education, she then attended a Fellowship in Epilepsy and Clinical Neurophysiology at Albany Medical Center from 2009-2012.
Dr. Gandhi is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) to practice in Florida. She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the Physicians Society of Central Florida.
In previous roles, Dr. Gandhi helped to establish the Outpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit at St. Vincent Medical Group as the center's Medical Director. She also treated patients at Advent Health and served as a sub-investigator on several studies at Meridien Research in Maitland, FL.
Dr. Gandhi was inspired to pursue a career in Medicine by her parents, who are also physicians. On a personal note, Dr. Gandhi enjoys dancing and spending time with her family, including her son and daughter.
