- Robert B. Booher, DDS, DABDSM, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who
as a Top Dentist for his outstanding contributions to the field of Dentistry in

Dr. Robert B. Booher has 45 years of experience in
the field of dentistry with 40 as an expert dentist in his current position
with Associates in Family Dentistry PC. Dr. Booher has been involved with much
advancement in dentistry through his years in practice and will be offering telemedicine
for sleep apnea patients, cosmetic dentistry, dental implant restorations, and
root canals. He and his team of highly trained dental professionals provide
their patients with a wealth of information to make the best decision regarding
their patient care.
Prior to opening up his private practice in 1980,
Dr. Booher served two years as a Dentist at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. Every
year Dr. Booher participates in numerous continuing education courses,
concentrating specifically on Cosmetic Dentistry, Endodontics (Root Canals),
treatments for TMJ, and migraine therapy, and the treatment of Obstructive
Sleep Apnea. He most recently took extensive training in Dental Sleep Medicine,
offering an alternative treatment to CPAP therapy to help treat this chronic
disease. Dr. Booher focuses his efforts in helping sleep MD's
treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea patients who can't wear or want an alternative to
CPAP therapy or need a combination therapy to make the therapy more effective
for them. In 2011 Dr. Booher worked closely with Dental Sleep Solutions
Diplomats in Dental Sleep Medicine. He received his diplomate status in 2014.
It all began with a conversation with a cousin when
Dr. Booher was a student at Purdue University. His cousin was an Orthodontist
that initially inspired him to go into dentistry. He attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana
for his Bachelor of Science Degree completing 1971, and went on to earn his
designation of Doctor of Dental Surgery with Indiana University School of
Dentistry in 1975. Dr. Booher’s key to
his success was and always wants to learn. Having access to State-of-the-art
equipment to provide the best services to his patients, and has been an army
dentist, treating thousands of soldiers at Fort Bragg, gave him insight on how
to run his dental practice following his education. His advice to those coming up in the field,
be good with one's hands and know science and mathematics that comes with the territory.
Dr. Booher is a member of the American Dental
Association, the Indiana Dental Association, the Indianapolis District Dental
Society, a past member of the Indiana Sleep Society, and was a charter member
of the Illinois Sleep Society. He was Nominated
"Best Dentist in Hendrick's Country" in 2003, 2004, and 2005.
In his free time, Dr. Booher enjoys playing golf and
singing as a Purdue University Glee Club Alumni.
Dr. Robert B. Booher dedicates his success to his
wife Shirley and daughter Megan. Megan
is also a dentist working in her father’s practice.
