
New York, NY — Rose Ward, CEO, is being recognized by Continental
Who's Who as a Trusted Notary Public and Certified Loan Signing Agent in the
Legal Services field and in acknowledgment of her work with NFocus Management
Group LLC.
Ms. Ward is a respected notary public and loan signing
services agent who provides entrepreneurship training for small businesses. She
specializes in business and program development, facilitating, fundraising for
sustainability, and administrative and grant management.
In addition to her legal services and business expertise,
Ms. Ward has worked as a professional developer, curriculum writer, grant
writer, educational consultant, instructional coach, and, most importantly,
teacher. She is, and always will be, a facilitator in her heart. Ms. Ward
considers her most significant career accomplishment to be working with youth
of all ages in various before and after school programs and summer educational
and meal programs for low-income youth. She has also been proud to facilitate
free or inexpensive classes and activities for seniors.
With extensive teaching experience, Ms. Ward has served as
an instructor at the State University of NY (SUNY) in Hempstead, NY, and
Briarcliffe College in Bethpage, NY. In other states, she taught at Frederick
Community College in Frederick, MD, Lincoln Land Community College, and
Springfield Alternative School in Springfield, IL. Ms. Ward worked as Director
of youth and adult programs, before and after school programs, and Teen Reach.
She has led several back-to-school and stay-in-school programs and programs for
incarcerated people. Ms. Ward's leadership roles in many youth and adult
volunteer organizations have shaped her understanding of education, business
development, and program management for 20-plus years.
In pursuit of higher education, Ms. Ward earned her Bachelor
of Science degree from the University of Phoenix in Business Administration and
Entrepreneurship Management. She received her MBA from the University of
Phoenix in Business Management, Administration, and Operations. In addition,
Ms. Ward is a certified loan signing agent among her licenses and
certifications. She also completed the New York State MAT (Medication
Administration Training), EMS – Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR), standard first
aid training, and professional rescuer training.
Ms. Ward has been honored with leadership awards by the
Commission on Volunteerism and Community Services and the Illinois State Prison
System. She has also been a recipient of the Illinois State Volunteerism Award.
During her free time, she enjoys baking, traveling, and
reading various publications, books, and inspirational material.
In the future, Ms. Ward intends to partner with the Small
Business Administration (SBA), Chamber of Commerce, and other organizations to
sponsor small business workshops. With her diverse background, she believes she
can be an asset to members, sharpen her knowledge, and seize new opportunities.
