K. Hamilton, MD, is a leader in Dermatology Research and Clinical Practice. She
is the Owner of both Hamilton Dermatology and Hamilton Research.
Dr.
Hamilton began her practice, Hamilton Dermatology, in 1998. She is an expert at
treating many types of skin conditions, including laser surgery, hair and
tattoo removal, surgical and nonsurgical vein treatments, and psoriasis
treatments. Dr. Hamilton also offers phototherapy and Mohs Micrographic
Surgery. In addition, she is well known internationally for her use of
injectable fillers to create natural and beautiful results.
Today,
Dr. Hamilton works with her daughter Madison, who has started as a Physician’s
Assistant. The doctor enjoys working closely with her patients and maintains an
office with cutting-edge equipment to provide the best results. Dr. Hamilton
also sells many types of Hamilton brand creams and serums on her website for
optimal skin health.
In
2013, Dr. Hamilton founded her research company, Hamilton Research. As a
leading Dermatology research facility, Dr. Hamilton has overseen more than 200
clinical trials. Her work has focused on Biologics for people with skin
conditions like Atopic Dermatitis and Psoriasis, and she received acclaim for
her work on Psoriasis treatments. Dr. Hamilton is actively involved with
numerous research publications concerning ongoing research and studies. She is
a frequent speaker and presenter at medical conferences and meetings throughout
the US.
Before
creating a legacy in Dermatology, Dr. Hamilton earned her Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. She next
completed courses at the University of Utah School of Medicine, graduating with
a Medical degree. The doctor completed residency training at
Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, where she was Chief Resident from 1997 -
1998. She is board-certified in Dermatology by the
American Board of Dermatology (ABD).
To
remain aware of developments in the medical field, Dr. Hamilton is a member
of the American Society for Dermatological Surgery, the American College of
Phlebology, the American Society for Mohs Surgery, the American Society for
Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the
American Society of Angiology, the Association of Clinical Research
Professionals, the National Psoriasis Foundation, the Alpha Omega Alpha
Honorary Medical Society, and the International Society of Cosmetic Laser
Surgeons.
Outside
of her work, Dr. Hamilton’s hobbies include spending time with her family and
four dogs to go boating, hiking, and spending time outside. She was an avid
traveler before the COVID-19 pandemic and looks forward to traveling again
soon.
