
Tucson, AZ — Valarie A. Pinkerton, DDS, is being recognized
by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Healthcare Professional for her
outstanding achievements in Family Practice Dentistry and in acknowledgment of
work with her private practice.
With more than 28 years of experience in her field, Dr.
Pinkerton is a third-generation Family Practice Dentist who followed in the
footsteps of her father and grandfather into the dental profession.
Dr. Pinkerton takes pride in providing each of her patients
with the highest quality of dental care possible within a comfortable,
family-friendly environment designed to put patients of all ages. Her dental
practice, located at 6373 E. Tanque Verde Road, Suite 250, in Tucson, AZ,
offers a full range of dental services for the entire family, including
state-of-the-art technologies for dental x-rays, crowns, bridges, and implant
restoration. Dr. Pinkerton also holds specialized training in restoring gold crowns
and bridges.
In pursuit of her dental career, Dr. Pinkerton first
obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Northern Arizona
University. She then completed an Associate of Science in Dental Hygiene from
the Temple University School of Dentistry, then earned her Doctor of Dental
Science degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. She
extended her post-doctoral education by completing specialized training in
dental gold restoration with Tucker Gold Study.
Among her professional affiliations, Dr. Pinkerton is a
member of the American Dental Association, the American Dental Hygiene
Association, and the Arizona State Dental Association.
In addition to working with her dental practice, Dr.
Pinkerton is also an active participant with a group of dental professionals
based in the Tucson, AZ region, who donate their time, services, and materials
to veterans at the Tucson Veterans Administration Hospital. Additionally, Dr.
Pinkerton serves as a volunteer educator in area elementary schools, teaching
students how to care for their teeth properly. She also volunteers with Gospel
Rescue, assisting less-fortunate individuals with their dental needs.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband,
Michael, and their son, Nikolaous, and following the University of Arizona
Wildcats athletics teams.
She dedicates this honor in loving memory of her
grandfather, the late Willis Randall Pinkerton, Sr., DDS, and her father,
Willis Randall Pinkerton, Jr., DDS, who specialized in orthodontic dental care.
