She is an acclaimed author of four books to date including her latest entitled “The Art of Grandparenting” which is available on www.theartofgrandparenting.com and www.grandparentingbookcom.  She is an expert at motivating authors, editors, illustrators and publicity personal.

Continental Who’s Who commends Valerie Connelly for her talents in book, web, and graphic design and fine art painting.  She is creator of Block Art Prints creating a vast amount of custom designed hand-carved block images for greeting cards and note cards for Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo, American Express, and NASCI to name a few. Musically inclined Valerie has studied piano, guitar, and composed hundreds of songs.  She received her BA from Cornell College, Mt. Vernon, IA in French, Music and Education and MA in French Literature from Northwestern University in 1981. She has radio hosted and traveled the world educating others through the Peace Corp, Togo, West Africa. She is versed in teaching in many school forums, English as a second language and being fluent in French, Language and French Literature. Valerie Connelly is exceptional and has received a vast array of honors and awards being nominated to Who’s Who six times, Outstanding Educator Award for Teacher of the Year from Phi Kappa Delta, and the Adding Wisdom Award for Arthur the Christmas Elf.
