With over 16 years of nursing experience, William is well equipped to serve the public through his integral positions with St. Francis Hospital. William is currently responsible for supervising medical-surgical renal, chemotherapy and stroke nursing, as well as ensuring staff members remain accredited. In addition, William manages clinical duties and serves as a preceptor for students. In order to ensure that daily operations of the hospital run smoothly, William works to manage contract nurses and make certain that equipment and water are safe to use for treatments. He oversees various aspects of staffing; payroll; negotiations; evaluations; training; and human resources as well.
In addition to his role as a nurse manager, William has also completed over two decades of military service. He currently serves in the National Guard and has served as an active-duty U.S. Army human resources technician deployed to Kuwait during Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2005. He currently serves the military through his work with an academy in Alabama to test potential warrant officers.
William is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. He obtained an Associate of Science in Nursing from Southern Union State Community College. William is also currently a member of The Officers' Association; West Central District Organization of Nurse Leaders; Georgia Organization of Nurse Leaders; and the Georgia Stroke Professional Alliance.
